When football games against Mexico and the USA saw the New Zealand Men’s National Team travel away from their home ground, manager of the All Whites, Rob Pickstock, shot straight to Net World Sports to purchase essential training equipment for the squad to continue training, even when they were more than 7,800 miles away from the QBE Stadium.
The New Zealand Men’s National Team assemble three to five times a year during pre-determined FIFA international windows, with most of their activity based overseas; 26 out of 32 matches in four-year cycle. With training forming an essential part of these activities and travelling with bulky football equipment proving difficult, the New Zealand Men’s National Team look to purchase equipment in their destination country wherever possible. With games scheduled in Nashville against Mexico and Washington DC against USA, the New Zealand Men’s National Team purchased Net World Sports’ FORZA Football Free Kick Mannequins online to be delivered directly to their hotel prior to their arrival.

“We found Net World Sports US website from doing a simple Google search. Once we had sourced the products we needed online, we engaged with the Net World Sports team directly to specify our delivery request and they met every requirement perfectly.”
Rob Pickstock, New Zealand Men's National Team Manager
At the time of the games, the All Whites coaches were working on playing shape and with only a limited amount of time to train together throughout the year wanted all players to be involved in the session instead of standing around idly as opposition. Understanding that the FORZA Football Free Kick Mannequins were good quality and well-priced, the New Zealand Men’s National Team received assurance from Net World Sports’ Inbound Communications Team that they would arrive on time before purchasing 12 to use in positioning the ‘opposition’ in various phases of play. With a combined weight of 84kg, the FORZA Football Free Kick Mannequins were picked, packed and shipped to the Nashville hotel within three hours of the order being placed.
“Purchasing online from a different country always has a risk attached”, explains Rob Pickstock. “Add to that the requirement for the order to be delivered to a hotel in an overseas country on time and in advance of your arrival adds even more of a risk, but Net World Sports gained our confidence immediately. The entire experience from sourcing the product and purchasing, through to sales service and delivery was seamless and professional. We’ve travelled to many different countries and cities over the years and the experience we had with Net World Sports has been one of the best.”
